Rally for the Cure proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. There are 49 clubs across the country that have Rallied with us each year since 1996. Our new “Why I Rally” series was created to share the commitment and dedication of these Rally participants and Ambassadors. Each and every one of you makes a difference.

Why WE Rally…

“I Rally because I lost my best friend of 40 years to cancer. She was a breast cancer survivor but ultimately cancer invaded her body again. She was a warm, compassionate person who left behind two wonderful daughters and four grandchildren. The year after she died, her daughters and I walked the Atlanta 3-Day two years in a row. It was the most incredible, meaningful, inspirational experience I have ever had and it lit a fire in me to do whatever I could to eradicate this horrific disease. The two years I walked, I raised over $26,000 as an individual who found that there is no one that has not been touched by breast cancer. I walked for those that could not but wanted to be a part by donating. I never knew there were that many generous souls. I found the underlying thread of the 3-Day was kindness. It was an experience I will cherish in my heart forever.”
